Sound Therapy- The “Wave” of the Future

As part of a Reiki session, I typically utilize a technology called Sound Therapy through the use of seven Chakra Tuned “SINGING” Quartz Crystal Bowls.

We have all listened to music that has lightened our spirit, excited and energized our body and perhaps even carried us off to relaxing far away shores.  The power of sound to heal, and create relaxation has been known by ancient civilizations including our own native American Indians for centuries.  Repetitive sound vibrations such as chanting, drumming, and toning have been used as part of spiritual practices to restore and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.

Everything in the universe is in a state of vibration

This vibration causes a natural frequency in every object including the human body.  When our energy centers (Chakras) become blocked because of negative thinking, excessive stress and exposure to environmental factors, they begin to vibrate out of tune, and we experience “dis ease” or disease.

Paul Hubbert, founder of the Institute for Holographic Sound and Inner Balance tells us,  “Through the use of sound healing and/or balancing, we can shift the vibration of the diseased or disharmonious area to bring it back into harmony, essentially to heal or balance it. There is nothing magic about this. It’s no different than having a car with water in the gas; it runs really bad, if at all. When you change the energy source, shift its vibration, to premium fuel, it will then begin to run at an optimum performance level. Of course with the car, you may also need to do a little cleaning or clearing out, just as you do with the human body and emotions.”

How do Chakra Tuned “SINGING” Quartz Crystal Bowls help?

Singing Quartz Crystal Bowls are made of 99.8% silicon quartz, a substance similar in nature to the silica contained within the cells of our body.  As the bowls are played, they begin to vibrate and act much like a radio transmitter creating and sending energy into the atmosphere.
